美國哲學家Daniel Dennett的四條法則：
1. You should attempt to re-express your target’s position so clearly, vividly, and fairly that your target says, “Thanks, I wish I’d thought of putting it that way.”
第一件事唔係樹立「稻草人」，或劈頭一句you are fucking wrong，而係用最公平公正清楚明白的方式闡述對方立場。要表達得好到連對方都讚你：「嘩屌，你講得咁L好嘅？」
2. You should list any points of agreement (especially if they are not matters of widespread or general agreement).
二，要清楚講出雙方都認同的地方，但留意唔係阿媽係女人的廢話，而係真正消化了解對方立場後發現原來是in agreement的東西。
3. You should mention anything you’ve learned from your target.
三，講出從對方argument學到的東西。
4. Only then are you permitted to say so much as a word of rebuttal or criticism.
四，做完以上三點，先好開始批評。
